On The Outfit: It's still a bit warm for fall here in LA. I was really love this vintage Chanel jacket that my grandma had since she was younger and was passed down with me. It is part of a full skirt suit but I think it's a bit older of a look for me personally. I love to just use the jacket.
I paired it with my easy denim shorts and this funny T-Shirt with the words "Some things should last a really long time" on it. I added a bootie because I like something to lengthen my legs a bit especially when wearing shorts. I like this mix between modern casual and a classic, traditional. I even added this funky little hat.
On My Mind: My style has become way too comfortable living in LA, even boring. I use to make a lot of fun choices and enjoy dressing up. Now, I feel like I've put less into the process. But that is the fun of having your own style. Fashion is an industry. Fashion is trends. Fashion is a business but style, style is you. Choosing your style and making conscious choices is just another way to show the world who you are. If you are just throwing random things on to be comfortable, what are you telling the world? When you look down at your yoga pants and sneakers ask yourself what are you telling the world?
