Our Picks: Skin Care

We all have different skin and different products that we use, just like everyone else in the world. We want to help introduce you to great new products as well as just tell you all what we've been doing. This week, our "picks" section is on Skincare!

"I'm the low-matinence betch of the trio. I don't own a hair brush, blow dryer, straightener, hair products.. nothin'! My skin routine follows suit. I don't wash my face in the morning, but i do put on my body lotion if my face is dry. I wash my face at night with a tee tree oil face wash and sometimes i'll do a minty scrub. My super special secret ingredient is vaseline. I put it on my lips all day long and never feel chapped! Even in the Cali desert!" - MZ

"I use this expensive ass shit for my face. The brand is The Body Deli, they are skincare products made out of super foods (typical). I figure if I put this much effort into what I put into my body, it’s also very important what I am putting onto my body. Every morning I wash my face with the Melon Foaming Cleanser, which has turmeric, vitamin B-12 and liquorice root extract in it. I then moisturize with Solar Day Cream, which has olive leaf, COQ10+Pumpkin seed oil, and micronized zinc. This cream naturally protects the skin from all the damages the sun can cause, which is important to me as I’m always outside soaking up the Cali sun. Every other night I was my face with the Blueberry Fusion Cleanser which contains wild blueberry, acai puree, malic, lactic, citric acids, and tamarind seed extract. I naturally have really dry skin so I have to make sure I moisturize every morning and every night after I wash." -SS

"I use a mix of cheap ole drugstore products and expensive shit. In the AM, I use KORA Organics Foaming Face Wash, then apply the Clarins Calming Face Toner. My face is normal to dry so I then put on Everyday Coconut Face Lotion which has SPF 15. I really want to prevent my face looking like a piece of leather when I get older. I top this off with plain old Nivea face lotion in a tin because it is awesome and the closest thing to Le Mar that I can afford. At night I am lazy, so I use the Alba 3-1 towelettes which has make-up remover, cleanser, and toner. I spray some Kora Organics Rosehip on my face and top it off, once again, with my Nivea. On and twice times a week, I put a mix of honey, lemon, cinnamon, and nutmeg on my face. Bye redness, puffiness and blemishes." -RF
