I made this really yummy pumpkin butter. It was super easy. Afterwards, I canned it and shared it with friends. I don't know if this is just an Northeast thing but no one in LA had heard of it. They loved it once they tried it!
2 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
3/4 cup apple juice
1 cup cane sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 1/2 tablespoons of pumpkin pie spice
You pretty much just combine it all together. You put it in a pot, let it boil then you put it on simmer for about 30 minutes (until it thickens up). I honestly forgot about it so it may have been closer to 40 minutes but it was all okay!!
