Are we gladiators or are we bitches?

How smart are you? I am constantly thinking about my life and how much of my brain power I am using. It is my general belief that we are all much more intelligent than we actually show the world.

I believe that all of us have moments when we look back at our life and think, "I could do more. I am smarter than the amount of brain power than I'm using." And those are our opportunities to instead think, "How can I do better?"

We can do better not just for ourselves but for others. We're all a part of this big world where it's easier to feel like we don't have the power to make a difference. But we do, however small it may be. So, push yourself. Force yourself to use all the parts of your mind that you don't always get to show. Push through being lazy or tired and make a change. Make a difference.

Do the thing you wanted to do. Be the person you wanted to be. In the words of the writers of Scandal, "Are we gladiators or are we bitches?"

I can tell you that I am going to start doing all the things I wanted to. I am going to stop being afraid. I am going to stop being bored because I'm not challenging myself. I am going to find what is meaningful to me and continue to work hard until it's made into what I hoped for.
