The other day, I had the pleasure of visiting the English city of Lincoln. You would be hard pressed to find a place with a more magical sense of history.
Since Roman times, the city has been settled for it's controlling views of the surrounding countryside. Thousands of years of history are stacked on top of each other, and it's all right there for you to see wandering the winding, hilly streets of the town. The magnificent cathedral and castle are worth a visit too. If you're in the midlands of England, pop into Lincoln, even if it's just for an afternoon. You won't be sorry.
Oh yeah...they also make the best jam in the world there. I first had Saints and Sinners Strawberry Rhubarb and Vanilla jam 5 years ago, and have been craving it ever since. Now I finally have it in my possession again!!
